How to reach us
Messages reach this site through the form on this page, which asks for your name, your email address, a subject and your message. There is no other channel: no phone line, no support desk, and no mailing address, because the site is run by one person rather than a company. Your message is delivered by email and is not added to a mailing list.
Questions about a figure are the ones worth asking. If a calculator gave you a number you cannot reconcile with your orders or your transportation office, say which tool, which figures you entered and what you expected — that is enough to reproduce it. What this site cannot do is tell you what you are entitled to: only your transportation office, your finance office and the Joint Travel Regulations can do that, and every page here says so for a reason.
Requests that need a particular subject line
Five kinds of request are handled under a documented process, and each is faster if the subject line names it:
- "California Privacy Request" — a right to know, delete or correct under the CCPA and CPRA, or a do-not-sell request. Add "— Authorized Agent" if you are submitting it on someone else's behalf. Answered within 45 days.
- "Virginia Privacy Request" — access, correction, deletion, portability or opt-out under the VCDPA. Answered within 45 days, extendable by 45 more where reasonably necessary.
- "Colorado Privacy Request" — the equivalent rights under the Colorado Privacy Act, on the same timetable.
- "DMCA Takedown Request" — a copyright complaint, which must carry the six items the terms of use list. "DMCA Counter-Notice" is the reply to one.
- "Security Report" — a vulnerability or a data-handling problem with this site. There are no accounts and no payments here and calculator inputs are not stored, so what is worth reporting is anything that changes what a page tells a service member about their entitlements. This is the address published at /.well-known/security.txt.
